How do Taiwanese women now practice their own happiness in their work?

Whether it is working women who work five days a week, or Stay-at-home housewives, does the time that Taiwanese women spend on their jobs help us reach our ideal life? What is the ideal life of a Taiwanese woman?

After the Spring Festival, 3/8 International Women's Day, women obsessed with the first season "women's Happiness" questionnaire, released more than 1100 Taiwanese women in the workplace gender experience, satisfaction, expectations of happiness and demand. Through women's experience and perspective, see the definition of contemporary happiness work changes.

The questionnaire attracted more than 1100 people to fill out the survey age distribution is mainly distributed in three major blocks, 30-40-year-old accounted for the highest (31%), 26-30-year-old accounted for 28.7, first into the workplace 21-25 years of age accounted for 25.4. This paper explores the meaning of happiness work from three directions. First, we examine the elements of the happy life of Taiwanese women and the position and importance of working in a happy life. Finally, through the voice of more than 1000 women, the real status of sex discrimination in Taiwan's workplace remains.

The most important condition of Taiwanese women's happy life: good intimate relationship and work achievement

Of the conditions that make up a happy life, most people think that "good intimacy" is very important, and 67% of those who fill out the answer tick. The second half of the respondents agreed on the importance of the sense of achievement (52%). Friendship Network ranked third (48%). Basic financial freedom, ideal practice is also in the options, but not most of the priority consideration.

The labor participation rate of Taiwanese women after marriage has fallen sharply after marriage. The most important condition of happiness work: 90% women pay more attention to "feel self-worth"

Beyond the value of Ken, 61% of respondents see "workplace interpersonal" as an important condition for happy work. However, in the workplace to pursue the pursuit of self-worth, from another point of view, may also reflect the overall economic environment can not meet the economic needs of workers. In addition to the entrepreneur, the overall average job satisfaction of women is 5.78 (out of 10 points). For reasons, salary still accounted for the most important factor, 55% thought that the salary is not ideal, 46% people think that the sense of lack of meaning, 30% think the working hours is too long, and 49 of them indicate that they are directly inclined to change their jobs rather than stay in the current job response or effort.

One-third women, still experiencing differential treatment in the workplace

About One-third of women (27%) said that discrimination in the workplace has been due to gender stereotyping, with the greatest number of cases of gender stereotypes being identified as inadequate (54%, 318), 34% noting unequal remuneration for equal work (201 persons), 23 per cent because of unequal treatment of births, and 31% verbal sexual harassment (182 persons)

Among ethnic groups, single mothers and domestic workers were the most sensitive to gender discrimination, with 46% of single mothers saying they had been treated differently, the highest among the ethnic groups, and the second (41%) of domestic workers. At the same time, female domestic workers in all ethnic groups, the current job satisfaction is the lowest, the average satisfaction of 4.24 points.
