Stella Asia Consonni, a photographer from London, UK, started shooting a series of couple photo albums called "Love me" because she had just experienced a breakup, inviting lovers of different identities and genders to participate in the "kiss photo", which caused dissatisfaction and discrimination against the gay community at the time. Because of this negative discussion, Stella Asia Consonni was determined to take more photos, expand the event, and let everyone see the possibility of beautiful love in any couple.

Close your eyes
The world is far away
Only your gentle weight
—— Shuntaro Tanigawa "Kissing"

Kissing is the proof that you become my world after closing your eyes, the proof that you connect two hearts with your lips, and the concrete realization of the sentence I love you. Kissing, which is regarded as a mark of love, can actually not only convey the affection between lovers, but also bring happiness and courage to the third party.

Stella Asia Consonni, a photographer from London, UK, shot a series of couple photos for "Love me", inviting lovers of different identities and genders to participate in the shooting, recording the picture of the two loving each other, hugging and kissing, and holding a solo exhibition at the end of April 2019. In an interview with foreign media "Dazed", Stella Asia Consonni said that the reason why she started taking couple kissing photos was because she had just experienced the end of a relationship, and she hoped to find her longing and yearning for love through filming. At the beginning of the filming project, she could hardly look directly at the couple in love, but soon, she realized that "real face" was the best way to deal with emotional wounds, so she began to seriously devote herself to filming, and finally got a satisfactory work as she wished. She bluntly said: "Although the process is more painful than expected, taking photos of couples kissing is very effective in treating emotional wounds."

In Stella Asia Consonni's work, you can clearly see how each lover kisses. They invest, touch, hug, hold hands, and naturally show love to each other with their whole body without effort. According to the New York Times, scholars published the results of a questionnaire on kissing in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, in which respondents said that when they are in a stable relationship, it is the frequency of kisses, not sexual intercourse, that makes them feel happy.

The power of kissing is beyond our imagination, and in addition to enhancing the happiness between lovers, it also gives Stella Asia Consonni the strength to face her feelings again. (Recommended reading: Summon hippie innocence!) Stranger Kiss Photo Album: "I'm going to kiss your pleasure")

Prior to the exhibition, Stella Asia Consonni posted photos of gay couples kissing on social media, which sparked a lot of community discontent and discrimination, and the camera team and subjects were subjected to many threats and abuse for no reason. Because of this negative discussion in the community, Stella Asia Consonni was determined to take more photos, expand the event, and let everyone see the possibility of beautiful love in any couple. Including lovers of the opposite sex, the same sex and any combination of people.

The strong love of lovers can be conveyed in countless ways, it can be a cup of hot coffee in the morning, it can be a phone call no matter how tired it is, it can be just two people, holding hands, kissing each other, and tasting all the ups and downs of life.

Now turn your head and give your lover a bottomless kiss.
