Following "13 Voices" and "Mao Moon", Zheng Zonglong, artistic director of Yunmen Dance Collection, will bring his latest work, "Dingguang", to a rehearsal press conference at the Freshwater Yunmen Theatre on September 17th, the first time a 20-minute performance of the wonderful clips will be released.

This year, affected by the outbreak of new crown pneumonia, Yunmen Dance Set suspended performances abroad. Despite the pity, when the dance troupe returned to Taiwan, Zheng Zonglong and the dancers had unexpectedly more time to reach the land of Taiwan, and they climbed Hehuan Mountain and opened the five officials to experience the daylight, the clouds and the humid air. See everything fades, under the light and shadow, Zheng Zonglong and the dancers feel the power of warmth and stability, decided to blend dance and sound, through the purest simple gesture, passed to more audiences.
Zheng Zonglong revealed in an interview, "Dingguang" this attempt to use light and sound to support the dance, for him is a very different attempt. At the beginning of the performance, the light and shadow created by the mirror reflection can be seen scattered on the stage, and the dancers use various parts of their bodies to simulate the sounds of the mountains: birds and dragonflies, drizzle, downpours, and even the sound of water frogs often heard in rural fields. And when you sit on the spot, you can feel the energy that comes out of the growth of each species.
"You can even hear the dancers imitating the damp sound before the rain. And there is a part of the dance in the beat, the ground, is hoping to imitate thunder, but in fact, nature is more ferocious than us. Zheng Zonglong said with a smile.

Hidden clothing design.
"Dingguang" dance this time with fashion designer Chen Yanyan, hoping to render a sense of purity, Zheng Zonglong said in an interview, the two people back and forth to discuss for a long time: "We hope to find nutrients from nature, so the natural color painting on the dancers." "I want to learn from nature. Zheng Zonglong said. After presenting the sound of the city's "13 Voices" and the wild call of "Mao Moon", he kept thinking about the relationship between the body and the land and the natural environment: "Hopefully there will be opportunities to learn more about Taiwan's unique flora and fauna, and I and the dancers will be able to protect the natural environment more." 」
The latest dance, "Dingguang", will have its world premiere at the National Theatre in Taipei from October 1st to October 4th, at the Kaohsiung Weiwu Camp National Arts Center from October 17th to October 18th, and at the Taichung State Opera Theatre from October 24th to October 25th.
